Parked in the service lane.at 7:00 am. Chris came out about 1.5 minutes later. Told him I had an appointment for recall work. When he asked whether we were going to wait or leave it, we told him we were going to eat breakfast, then come back to check. He said he would put “waiting” so that it would be taken care of, right away. Came back at 8:40 am (?), and were told that it was being worked on , right then. Went in the waiting room, and were there for about 5 minutes. Chris called me on the phone to say it was done, and he was taking the paperwork to the cashier. Everything was done promptly and efficiently.
I made an appointment for recall work and other problems with my car, I was treated with courtesy and honesty, and problems were pinpointed and solved, I am a happy customer, and I bought my car from Southpointe CJD, because of the friendliness and courtesy from the employees. Had some good experiences with South Point and good information. But my last visit didn't turn out as expected. I had an outside mirror that had darkened and was showing hairline cracks which would be a warranty issue since there is only 10,000 miles on the vehicle.The service writer looked at it, took several pictures, and said I'll have to sent these to the factory to get approval to replacement. She took all my information and said she would call as soon as she heard something. That was 9-27-11. Needless to say I never heard another thing as of 10-17-11. Took it to another dealer and part was ordered and replaced in 2 days.
