March Sales Results for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and RAM are Released
Recently, FCA US LLC announced the company's sales figures for March 2017, with the company selling a total of 190,254 vehicles throughout the United States during the month. These numbers are are down slightly in comparison to last March — an expected result given that the company continues to follow its strategy of reducing its sales to the daily rental automotive market.
The 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, which won more awards than any other minivan in 2016 and 2017, saw sales jump 3 percent over February 2017's performance. March signified the third straight month that sales of the vehicle grew in the year-over-year comparisons, March also marked the model's best monthly sales results this year.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee registered the model's best sales month of 2017, with sales increasing 22 percent compared to last March.
Four Dodge models realized year-over-year sales increases, driving the brand to a 10 percent gain for the month. The Journey crossover experienced a resounding 100 percent gain, while the muscular Challenger was up 17 percent compared to last year. The Dodge Grand Caravan minivan and Dodge Viper also out-performed their March 2016 sales results.
RAM pickup truck and van sales jumped 6 percent over March 2016, with RAM ProMaster van sales enjoying a healthy 24 percent improvement.
